Lake Elsinore Man Struck by Car in Wildomar
RIVERSIDE COUNTY - A 52-year-old Lake Elsinore resident was struck by a car while he was attempting to cross a street in Wildomar on Wednesday. The 9:45 p.m. accident occurred at the intersection of Mission Trail and Mariposa Road, The Press-Enterprise reported. The pedestrian, Ronald Daniels, was then taken to Inland Valley Regional Medical Center in Wildomar with massive leg injuries.
According to sheriff officials at the scene, the driver, whose name was not immediately available, did not show any signs of intoxication and was cooperative. RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A female pedestrian was seriously injured when she was hit by a Mitsubishi Lancer at Prielipp Road and Elizabeth Lane, SWRNN reports. The collision was reported in the city of Wildomar just after 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday. The driver, who is believed to be female, did not sustain any injuries in the accident. It also undetermined how many passengers were in the vehicle. According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson, the pedestrian, whose name and age have not been released, was taken to a local hospital and is critical condition.
