Two Injured after Palm Springs Car Crash
RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A Palm Springs two-vehicle accident sent two people to a hospital this morning, The Desert Sun reports. At about 5:30 a.m. Monday, two cars collided at East Palm Canyon Drive and Araby Drive. The two cars involved in this terrible crash was a 2007 Honda Accord coupe and a 1998 Honda Accord sedan. It was reported that one of the cars overturned in the collision, but news reports did not indicate which vehicle. Following the accident, two people were extricated from their vehicles and were taken to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
The March 12th accident in Palms Springs remains under investigation by the authorities. Although police officials do not believe alcohol or drugs contributed or caused the collision, it is unclear if speed, negligence, unsafe driving, or vehicle malfunctions played a factor in this car accident.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY - A Palm Springs two-car crash left eight people injured including two children Saturday morning, The Press-Enterprise reports. The collision occurred at about 11:05 a.m. on Highway 62 at Dillon Road. After the crash, two children sustain critical injuries, two other victims suffered moderate injuries, and the other four victims sustained minor injuries. All eight of them were taken to a hospital for further treatment. No other information was given on how this horrible accident occurred.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A woman was severely hit by a car on Interstate 10 in Palm Springs, The Desert Sun reports. The pedestrian, whose name was not released, was running across the I-10 near Indian Canyon Drive at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, when a black Volkswagen Jetta struck her and then fled the scene. Following this devastating collision, the woman was taken to a hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, CHP officers are currently searching for the driver of the Volkswagen that has a partial license of 7H6X.
