Highway 74 Rollover Accident Seriously Injures Passenger
A 19-year-old woman suffered major injuries late Wednesday night when the vehicle she was riding in overturned on a curve on Highway 74, the Desert Sun reported. The CHP received reports of the solo vehicle accident at 11:38 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2010, on Highway 74 between Vista Point and Palowet Drive. The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center on Palm Springs. He was later booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio on suspicion of felony DUI. The front-seat passenger of this vehicle, a 19-year-old woman, suffered major injuries and was also taken to Desert Regional.
