Fontana Man Killed in Glen Avon Pedestrian Accident
RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A man was severely struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle in Glen Avon at around 3 a.m. Monday, The Press-Enterprise Reports. The man, Richard Darman Parrilla, 27, of Fontana, was crossing Country Village Road just south of Wagon Way when he was hit by a minivan. According to Sheriff's Department Corporal Courtney Donowho, the driver of the minivan did not see Parrilla. Following the accident, Parrilla was reported to have died at the scene.
