Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Pickup Truck in Corona
RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A 54-year-old pedestrian that was struck by a pickup truck tragically died early this morning, Southwest Riverside News Network reports. The pedestrian - William Montgomery Sr., of Corona - was hit in the 900 block of West 6th Street in Corona at about 7:25 a.m. Friday. Montgomery was reported to have succumbed to his injuries about 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Community Hospital. No further information about this horrible May 11th was available.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident Friday morning, The Press-Enterprise reports. The collision occurred at about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of 6th Street and Main Street. The girl, whose identity was not released, was walking at a crosswalk when she was struck by an oncoming eastbound vehicle. Following the accident, the girl was taken to Riverside Community Hospital and then transferred to Loma Linda University Medical Center for further treatment of her injuries.
