Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident Injures Woman in Moreno Valley
RIVERSIDE COUNTY - A 62-year-old woman was seriously struck by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday night while she was attempting to cross a Moreno Valley street, The Press-Enterprise reported. The 6:15 p.m. accident took place at the intersection of Heacock Street and Kernwood Drive when the woman, whose name was not stated, was hit by a vehicle traveling north on Heacock. The woman suffered severe head injuries and broken bones after the collision.
The vehicle involved in this horrible accident is described to be a dark-colored mid-1990s Honda two-door car with a black hood. Anyone with information regarding the driver or this accident should call the Riverside County Sheriff's Department at (951)776-1099.

This horrific incident took place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Huntington Harbor, when the operator of the boat noticed gasoline leaking and decided to turn back. However, during the attempt to head back to shore, the engine sputtered and exploded, causing several passengers to be thrown from the boat.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A 76-year-old pedestrian man was severely injured after being struck by an oncoming vehicle Saturday in Moreno Valley, The Press-Enterprise reported. The accident occurred just after 9 a.m. when the pedestrian man was crossing at the intersection of Graham Street and Old Valley Drive. The man, whose name was not released, was struck by a blue 2006 Toyota Highlander.

The July 24th Grover Beach pedestrian accident was reported around 9:00 p.m. According to police reports, the 17-year-old and 18-year-old girls, who were not identified, were in a crosswalk when they were struck. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, including multiple bone fractures. The 19-year-old man driving the pickup truck that hit the girls was not injured.
THOUSAND PALMS - Six people were hospitalized following a minivan rollover crash Thursday morning on westbound Interstate 10, near Cook Street, KPSP Local 2 News reported. The accident, involving a 2002 Mercury van registered to the Coachella Valley Unified School District, occurred around 8:49 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2011. According to the CHP, six people were injured in the crash. Two people suffered critical injuries, two people suffered moderate injuries, and two people suffered minor injuries. The occupants included a high school student, parent and staff of Coachella Valley Unified, and were part of a caravan of vehicles headed to Ontario International Airport, where the group would fly to Sacramento and then visit California State University Chico.
Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) is a popular route for cyclists in Malibu. It is also has been the location of a number of serious bicycle accidents involving cyclists in the last decade. Last year, PCH in Malibu made headlines when hundreds of cyclists were put in danger when a Caltrans contract crew failed left a repaving project over the weekend and failed to warn cyclists of serious dangers in the roadway.
