Woman Struck and Injured in Santa Ana Hit-and-Run

Britol Street sign - Santa Ana.pngORANGE COUNTY -- A woman sustained serious injuries Thursday morning after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Santa Ana. The terrible accident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on Bristol Street, just near Elder Avenue. According to the Orange County Register, the woman, described to be about 50 to 60 years old, was unconscious when she was found. She was then taken to a hospital via ambulance for further treatment. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information regarding the driver involved is asked to contact the Santa Ana police at (714) 245-8049.

Man Struck and Killed While Crossing Santa Ana Street

ORANGE COUNTY -- A pedestrian in his 40s was tragically killed just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday when he was struck by two vehicles in Santa Ana, Orange County Register reported. The man, whose name was not released, was attempting to cross Broadway when a white Chevy pickup traveling northbound hit him, causing him to land on the southbound lane, where he was struck by a green Mustang convertible. Neither drivers remained at the scene. Anyone with information regarding this accident or the drivers involved is asked to contact the Santa Ana Police Department.

Four Pedestrians Tragically Struck by Car in Santa Ana

ORANGE COUNTY -- Four people, which included two adults and two children, were severely struck by a car in Santa Ana, Orange County Register reports. According to the police, a woman in her 50s driving westbound on Civic Center Drive at about 4:45 p.m. Thursday, struck multiple pedestrians while they were attempting to cross a street near Spurgeon Street. The driver hit two women, a 1-year-old boy, and after the collision the car ending up on top of a 3-year-old girl. Following the crash the 3-year-old girl, the 1-year-old boy, and the two adult women were transported to a hospital with critical injuries. The driver was also taken to a hospital, however, the specificity of her injuries and whether they related to the accident, was not immediately available.

Cause of the Santa Ana Pedestrian Accident

The accident on November 3rd remains under the investigation by the Santa Ana Police Department. However, based on the information provided by the Orange County Register, it was not clear why the driver did not see the pedestrians crossing. It was also reported that the accident may be caught on a surveillance video, which police hope to have access to the footage. One Injured in Santa Ana Car Accident on Interstate 5

Southbound I-5 Santa Ana.pngORANGE COUNTY -- A multi-vehicle accident in Santa Ana left one person injured, Orange County Register reported. The collision between a Volvo and a Nissan Sentra occurred just before 10:49 a.m. on the southbound lanes of the Interstate 5. Following this horrible car crash, the woman in the Sentra was transported to a hospital for further treatment. The extent of her injuries and the condition of the other driver were not immediately available.

Pedestrian Killed in Santa Ana Hit-And-Run Accident

newhope st-1st st.pngORANGE COUNTY -- According to the OC Register, a pedestrian man was struck and killed by two vehicles in the city of Santa Ana. The accident was reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, when a man, whose name was not released, was walking at the intersection of West 1st Street and South Newhope Street, and then was hit by an passing vehicle that failed to stop. Following the collision, a second vehicle hit the man and also failed to stop. Police officials found the second vehicle, impounded the car, however, the driver was not arrested. Authorities are still trying to locate the first driver involved in this devastating collision.
