One Killed, One Injured in Intersection Car Crash in Orange
ORANGE COUNTY - A 19-year-old man was tragically killed in a two-car crash in which authorities indicated speed was a factor. Information gathered from news reports indicated the collision occurred in Orange at about 11:55 a.m. Thursday. Law enforcement officers investigating this devastating accident stated a gray Honda Civic going north on Jamboree Road collided with green Toyota Corolla traveling west on Chapman Avenue. The driver of the Corolla, Angel Fernandez of Orange, was reported to have died at the scene. The occupant in the Civic sustained unknown injuries and was transported to a trauma center.

ORANGE COUNTY -- Three people were seriously injured in a car crash in the city of Orange at about 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, Orange County Register reports. Authorities that are investigating the accident believe a Nissan 240SX going south on Hewes Street struck a Mercedez-Benz that was traveling in the opposite direction. It is uncertain whether the two vehicles collided head-on, but regardless of how the two vehicles struck each other, the impact of the collision caused the Nissan to overturn. Following the accident, the two individuals in the Nissan sustained serious injuries and were taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. The occupant of the Mercedes was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Orange for further treatment, however, the extent of the driver's injuries was not immediately available.
