ORANGE COUNTY - A 19-year-old man was tragically killed in a two-car crash in which authorities indicated speed was a factor. ORANGE COUNTY -- Three people were seriously injured in a car crash in the city of Orange at about 6:25 p.m. Wednesday, Orange County Register reports. Authorities that are investigating the accident believe a Nissan 240SX going south on Hewes Street struck a Mercedez-Benz that was traveling in the opposite direction. It is uncertain whether the two vehicles collided head-on, but regardless of how the two vehicles struck each other, the impact of the collision caused the Nissan to overturn. Following the accident, the two individuals in the Nissan sustained serious injuries and were taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. The occupant of the Mercedes was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Orange for further treatment, however, the extent of the driver's injuries was not immediately available.
