Two Injured in Head-on Collision on Flint Avenue in Hanford
HANFORD - A head-on collision Monday morning on Flint Avenue injured two drivers, the Hanford Sentinel reported. According to news accounts, a white Toyota Camry was travelling westbound, near 12th Avenue, when the driver of the vehicle reached into the back seat and took her eyes off the road. Her Camry drifted off the right side of the road, and when she realized what was happening, she sharply turned to the left, overcorrecting into eastbound lanes. The Camry slammed into an orange GMC pickup truck head-on. Both vehicles were totaled and the drivers were both taken by ambulance to Adventist Medical Center in Hanford with undetermined injuries. The accident occurred at 8:15 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011.
