Palmdale Woman Killed in Crash on 405 Freeway
LOS ANGELES - A 23-year-old Palmdale woman was very tragically killed late Thursday night in a crash on the 405 Freeway, the LA Weekly and Los Angeles Daily News reported. The victim, Vanessa Fulladosa, was the driver and sole occupant of a Mercedes-Benz that stalled in the fast lane of the 405 Freeway just north of Bellflower Boulevard. Police reported that Fulladosa called 911 to report the location of her vehicle breakdown moments before her vehicle was struck by a 2010 Mitsubishi driven by a 34-year-old Long Beach man. According to police, the driver of the Mitsubishi "failed to observe the 1997 Mercedes stopped in front of him and collided into its rear." The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.

Cause of the February 17th Crash
If news accounts are accurate, the driver of the Mitsubishi apparently did not see the disabled vehicle stopped in front of him. Based on the news reports, it is unclear whether emergency flashers were turned on in Fulladosa's vehicle.
