RIVERSIDE COUNTY - According to a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff-Corner's office, a 55-year-old woman was killed in car crash in Winchester early Friday morning. The accident took place on Winchester Road, south of Scott Road, when the driver of a Toyota Corolla - Louisa Valdovinos of Menifee - was struck head-on by a Pontiac Grand Am that crossed into the opposite lane. After the 3:50 a.m. collision, Valdovinos was reported to have died at about 4:04 a.m. No information regarding the name or the injuries of the Pontiac driver was released.
