ORANGE COUNTY -- An 18-year-old woman was killed after she was struck by a car in Anaheim on Thursday, Orange County Register reports. The woman, Denley Angeles, got off a bus and was crossing at the intersection of Katella Avenue and Harbor Boulevard to catch a another bus, but was hit by a car. Following this horrific accident, Angeles was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she later died several hours later.
The pedestrian accident on December 1st remains under investigation. However, based on the information provided by the Orange County Register, it is not clear who may had the right of way, and whether the driver could have avoided the collision from occurring. Hopefully, the Anaheim Police Department can determine why this accident happened and who is responsible.
