Victorville Car Accident Injures Six

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY -- A rollover car crash in Victorville left six people injured, Victorville Daily Press reported. The accident occurred at about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday when the driver of an SUV lost control, rolled over several times, and then struck a Toyota on Village Drive near Air Expressway. Witnesses at the scene stated the female driver of the SUV was traveling at an extremely high rate of speed before she lost control of her vehicle.
Village Dr - Victorville.pngFollowing the accident, the two occupants in the Toyota sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. Mary Medical Center. The driver of the SUV was not wearing a seat belt, which then caused her to be ejected from the vehicle and sustain head injuries. Authorities at the scene indicated four of the woman's passengers were seriously injured. Two people were airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and two were taken to a local hospital for further treatment.

Cause of the Victorville Car Crash

The accident on December 27th remains under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. However, based on the information provided by the Victorville Daily Press, it is unclear what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
