In situations such as this one, if police determine the driver of the SUV is responsible for the accident, the family members of the victim would be well-advised to speak to a Riverside wrongful death lawyer. An knowledgeable attorney who has the experience in handling fatal pedestrian accidents, can advise the family of their legal rights in a civil suit, and decide the best course of action to recover the maximum compensation they are entitled to for funeral/burial expenses, future anticipated lifetime earnings and benefits, and loss of love, care, affection, and companionship.
