One Killed and Another Severely Injured in Huntington Beach Car Crash

adams ave - bushard street.pngORANGE COUNTY -- A two-car collision in Huntington Beach left a woman killed and a man seriously injured on Saturday, Los Angeles Times reported. The accident happened at about 9:35 a.m. on Adams Avenue at Bushard Street, when a 2002 Honda was broadsided by a 2011 Jeep Wrangler. The occupants in the Honda was an 86-year-old man, and his passenger, Esther Kumasaka, 82, of Huntington Beach.

Following this tragic accident, the female passenger, Kumasaka, was reported to have died at the scene. And the driver of the Honda, was taken to UCI Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition. The Huntington Beach police are investigating the cause of the collision.
