SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY -- A man and a woman pushing a shopping cart were dreadfully struck by a car in Victorville Friday night. According to The Press-Enterprise, the accident happened at 6:03 p.m. at 7th Street and La Paz Drive when the man, Jesse James, 47, of Victorville, and the woman, whose name was not released, were attempting to cross the street and then struck by an oncoming car driven by a 30-year-old woman.
Following this tragedy, the woman was transported to Victor Valley Community Hospital where she later died due to her injuries, while James is still in the hospital and in critical condition as of Monday.
Cause of the November 11th Pedestrian Accident
The pedestrian accident on 7th Street and La Paz Drive remains under investigation by authorities. However, based on the information provided by The Press-Enterprise and the Victorville Daily Press, it is unclear who may be at fault for the accident. UPDATE: According to the San Bernardino County Sun, the woman killed in this tragic pedestrian accident was Angela Michelle Ehn, 36, of Victorville.
