LOS ANGELES COUNTY - A collision involving a Metro Blue Line light rail train and a automobile left nine people injured, Los Angeles Times reported. The accident happened in Los Angeles at 2:50 p.m. Friday on Flower Street, north of 18th Street. According to the authorities, the car for unknown reasons turned in front of the train causing injuries to both occupants on the train and in the vehicle. The crash caused four people in the car to be injured, including some with open wounds, and approximately five train passengers complained about pain. All nine individuals were taken to a hospital for further treatment.
