SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY -- A 56-year-old Florida trucker was fatally struck by a car on Friday, The Press-Enterprise reports. The trucker, James Frederik Kuhr, parked his big-rig on Francis Street and attempted to cross the roadway before being struck a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero making a left turn from Hellman Avenue onto Francis Street. Following this devastating incident, Kuhr was transported to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Ontario, where he later died at about 12:46 p.m. Tuesday.
