LOS ANGELES COUNTY -- A male pedestrian in his 70s was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in South Los Angeles, CBS Los Angeles reports. The accident occurred at the intersection of 113th and Figueroa streets at about 4:45 a.m. Sunday. According to the Los Angeles Police, the car was abandoned where the accident took place, and the suspects - identified as a male and a female - fled the scene.
Following this devastating collision, the pedestrian was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital. No other information regarding the specificity of the collision and the pedestrian's identity was released.
