RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A 76-year-old pedestrian man was severely injured after being struck by an oncoming vehicle Saturday in Moreno Valley, The Press-Enterprise reported. The accident occurred just after 9 a.m. when the pedestrian man was crossing at the intersection of Graham Street and Old Valley Drive. The man, whose name was not released, was struck by a blue 2006 Toyota Highlander.
Following the accident, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries, which includes a broken pelvis and hip. The pedestrian, whose name was not released, was transported to Riverside Medical Center for further treatment. The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries in the accident.
