RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident Friday morning, The Press-Enterprise reports. The collision occurred at about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of 6th Street and Main Street. The girl, whose identity was not released, was walking at a crosswalk when she was struck by an oncoming eastbound vehicle. Following the accident, the girl was taken to Riverside Community Hospital and then transferred to Loma Linda University Medical Center for further treatment of her injuries.
Cause of the Pedestrian Accident in Corona
The accident remains under investigation by the Corona Police Department. However, based on the limited information provided by The Press-Enterprise, it is not known what caused the driver to hit the pedestrian. Hopefully, authorities can come to a conclusion as to what happened and why.
