SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY -- A woman sustained serious injuries after she was involved in a multi-vehicle accident in Fontana at about 3:46 p.m. Monday, Fontana Herald News reports. The woman, who was a passenger in a 2004 Honda Accord, was traveling south on Sierra Avenue near Foothill Boulevard when their vehicle broadsided a 2005 Toyota Tacoma. According to Fontana Police Sergeant Billy Green, the Tacoma pulled in front of the Honda as it was leaving a shopping center.
Following this terrible accident, the female passenger in the Honda Accord suffered severe injuries to her head and neck and was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The names and ages of the individuals involved in this collision were not immediately available.

The accident on September 12th remains under investigation by police officials. However, based on the information provided by the Fontana Herald News, it appears the driver of the Toyota Tacoma may be at fault for the accident due to not yielding to oncoming traffic.
