Man Sustained Major Injuries in Moreno Valley Pedestrian Accident

RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A 22-year-old man sustained major injuries when he was horribly struck by a vehicle, The Press-Enterprise reports. The man, whose name was not released, was crossing John F. Kennedy Drive in Moreno Valley at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday when he was hit by a 2004 Nissan Sentra. The man suffered major head trauma and was transported to Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley for further treatment.

The accident on September 25th remains under investigation by authorities. However, based on the information provided by The Press-Enterprise, it is not clearly known how and why this accident occurred, or if it could have possibly been prevented.
