RIVERSIDE COUNTY -- A terrible car collision in the city of San Jacinto left four people injured, The Press-Enterprise reports. The accident was reported at about 10:43 a.m. Monday, when a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado traveling southbound on Sanderson Avenue rear-ended a 2003 Chrysler 300 that was stopped to make a left turn on Ramona Boulevard. Following the accident, the 42-year-old driver of the Chevrolet pickup was taken to a hospital for treatment of a hand injury. The occupants in the Chrysler that consisted of a 35-year-old male driver, his 29-year-old wife, and 3-year-old sustained minor to moderate injuries and were also transported to a hospital for further treatment. The names of the people involved in this car collision were not immediately available.

The accident on September 18th remains under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
