Corona Woman Killed in Norco Car Accident

hidden valley parkway.bmpRIVERSIDE COUNTY -- An 18-year-old woman was killed in a Norco car collision at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday, The Press-Enterprise reported. The woman, Lucciana Francesca Colotta, of Corona, was a passenger in a Cadillac that was traveling westbound on Hidden Valley Parkway near Blairo Circle. Then, as the vehicle was going west on the roadway, the 23-year-old driver of the Cadillac apparently lost control of the vehicle, veered onto eastbound traffic and collided with a Hummer. Following this horrible collision, the driver of the Cadillac was transported to a hospital with critical injuries while the passenger, Colotta, was reported to have died at the scene. The occupants in the Hummer were also taken to a hospital for further treatment but were released.

Cause of the Car Accident in Norco

Based on the limited information provided by The Press-Enterprise, it is unclear why the driver of the Cadillac lost control of the vehicle. Therefore, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident to determine what caused this collision to occur and who is officially responsible.
