Hopefully, the investigation by law enforcement will reveal exactly what happened and why.

Solo-vehicle accidents are often blamed on driver actions, such as speeding, falling asleep at the wheel, being distracted by a cell phone, or driving under the influence. However, some accidents are not preventable by the driver, and may be the result of a dangerous road condition, or defect in the vehicle itself. In such situations, the negligent party may be financially liable for the injuries or deaths that result from a collision.
