ORANGE COUNTY - A bicyclist was taken to UCI Medical center after being struck by a blue Toyota 4Runner SUV Monday morning in Westminster, the Orange County Register reported. The car vs. bicycle accident was reported on Beach Boulevard at the 22 Freeway off-ramp at about 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011. According to the CHP, the cyclist, only identified as a male, was in the crosswalk when the accident occurred. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
