Woman Injured Friday Morning in Orange County Intersection Crash

The Orange County Register reported a woman was taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana Friday morning following a crash at Chapman Avenue and Canyon View Avenue. According to news reports, the accident occurred at about 7:20 a.m., and involved a Mercedes-Benz 300E and a GMC Yukon. The Yukon was travelling eastbound on Chapman, and the Mercedes was travelling northbound on Canyon View. One of the vehicles reportedly ran a red light, although it was not clear which one. The woman driving the Mercedes was trapped and had to be extricated. It was not clear if anyone in the GMC Yukon was injured.
