SANTA FE SPRINGS - A 59-year-old Garden Grove man died Friday when his motorcycle collided with a tractor trailer, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported. The fatal crash occurred on Bloomfield Avenue, between Clark Street and Telegraph Road. Both the motorcycle and the tractor trailer were travelling northbound in the second lane, when the tractor trailer slowed to turn into a driveway. The motorcyclist tried to avoid the collision, but collided with the back of the truck. The motorcyclist was taken to Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, where he died. The Whittier Police Department is investigating the January 21st Los Angeles motorcycle accident.
