Pedestrian Accident Wrongful Death Liability
Based on the limited information provided in news reports, it is unclear exactly what happened and whether the driver of the vehicle could have done anything to cause the accident. If the driver of the vehicle is determined to have caused the fatal Chino Hills pedestrian accident, he may be cited or arrested for causing the accident that resulted in the death of Coya, depending on the circumstances. Additionally, he may be held financially accountable for causing Coya's death in a civil action for wrongful death, and may be liable for funeral and burial expenses, and loss of love, care, affection and companionship.

The driver hit the man on his wheelchair on accident. The man was almost hit by another car. The driver of the car that hit him was unable to see him around the first car. The man was not cited nor arrested. His car wasn't impounded and no charges have been filed. Let's remember to pray for both families as it must be very hard for the man in the car as well as the family of Coya.
