A 61-year-old man was taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo Sunday night after he was hit by a car driven by a 16-year-old near San Clemente High School, the Orange County Register reported. The accident occurred in the 700 block of Avenida Pico, at around 9 p.m. The teen driver was not cited, and police did not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. The injured man suffered a broken leg and a head injury in the August 1st San Clemente pedestrian accident.
